All School Registration Day

This information was updates on July 13, 2026

Join us for Registration Day as we kick off the 2026/2027 school year!

All FRCS families are invited to join us for Registration Day on Thursday, August 13. You can meet teachers, set up your locker or your student desk, drop off supplies, turn in essential forms, and (perhaps most importantly) reconnect with the community while enjoying snow cones and lawn games! There is a dedicated time at 9am for new families to join us and receive a welcome and introduction to campus, and we are running special sessions on various topics throughout the day. These sessions allow parents to hear from various leaders at FRCS about a number of topics—so take a look at the schedule below and join us on August 13 for the beginning of another excellent school year!

As you arrive, please follow the Registration Day Checklist (downloadable version coming soon). This checklist, which can be completed in any order, will ensure that you get the most out of this day and don’t miss any critical stations. Your general school supplies should be dropped off in the classroom when you meet your teacher (ECE & Elementary) or at the table near the Jr/Sr High front office.

Determine and review school fees

Elementary fees cover field trips, year-end celebrations, instruments (specific grades only), outdoor experience (6th grade only), and a school t-shirt. If your 6th grade student wishes to play any middle school sports, those fees are in addition to regular fees. Elementary families will be invoiced for fees on August 5, and auto-drafted on August 19.

Jr/Sr High students have required fees that cover things like retreats, community days, standardized testing, yearbooks, a school t-shirt, and more. The Junior High required fee is $390 and the Senior High required fee is $435. Jr/Sr High families will be invoiced for fees on July 13, and auto-drafted on August 10. Fees that apply to classes your student is taking (AP Courses, NHS, and electives) are invoiced after the add-drop period. Fees that pertain to sports and theater productions are invoiced at the beginning of those seasons.

Fees are invoiced through your existing FACTS account and automatically paid using the payment method on record in FACTS (though you can choose to make payments manually prior to the due date). If you prefer to pay from a different bank or account or by credit/debit card, please log in to your FACTS account prior to the due date and add the other form of payment. NOTE: If you elect to pay by credit/debit card, associated processing fees will be added to the invoice total.

Please refer to fee sheets (found on the Family Portal) for specific details about fees.

Photos or videos may be taken in class or during school events, including fine arts and athletics. Video may be an archive or livestream of events, including concerts and other performances. Some activities are automatically photographed or videoed and removing students from those group photos will be next to impossible (e.g., drama productions and some sporting events). However, we do our best to adhere to the wishes of parents. NOTE that parents who do not grant permission for videos or photos may prevent their child from participating in some concerts and performances where a recording or livestream or group photos are planned.

Photos and video may be used on/in the school's website, school emails, social media, slide shows, brochures, and other promotional and communications materials. To protect our students, we avoid including student information (such as names), except when the student's name or other details are important to the photo; e.g., a student winning an award.

This form is primarily to allow parents to restrict photo and video usage or limit it to their preferences. Parents who choose not to sign this form consent to the use of photos or videos of their child or family as described above.

This form applies to photos and video taken during the school year that it is signed. For example if a parent does not grant permission for photo usage one year but does grant permission the next year, any photos taken during the restricted year cannot be used by the school, even during the year that new photos are not restricted.

Do you grant FRCS permission to use video/photos of your student/family for use in digital and print materials?

Keep the dress code in mind when school clothes shopping

You can review the school dress code here. See elementary specifics here and junior/senior high specific here.

In general, the dress code is designed to encourage students to attire themselves in a manner that is practical, suitable, and safe for school activities while discouraging unnecessary distractions.
