Junior High Supply List

2026/2027 Supplies

This list may be incomplete; teachers may provide students with additional items needed during the first days of school. This list was updated July 3, 2026.

Community Use

These items should be dropped off on Registration Day or the first day of school on tables near the front office.

  • 4 pack of Expo brand dry erase markers (various colors; for teacher use)
  • 3 reams of computer paper (1500 total sheets)
  • By last name:
    • A-L: 3 large boxes of facial tissue
    • M-Z: 2 large containers of disinfectant wipes
Personal Supply

Please note that other than the items listed under community supplies, all students are expected to have their own supplies of the following items. Some of them may need to be replenished as needed throughout the school year.

  • A journaling Bible (either NIV or NASB)–notes are taken in the Bible during class, so please buy one specifically for student use at FRCS (without doodles or drawings already in the margins); students may use the same Bible until they graduate, so returning students may use the one they used last year
  • Students are provided a Chromebook for use on campus; they will need access to a computer at home, as well. Junior high students may not bring personal computing devices to school.
  • Backpack or book bag (rolling backpacks are not allowed)
  • College-ruled, loose-leaf notebook paper (not spiral)
  • Magnetic tape for locker décor (scotch tape is not allowed)
  • Book covers for textbooks (teachers will let students know which books must be covered)
  • Four 1-inch binders: one each for language arts (with 4 pocket dividers); science (with 1 pocket divider); Bible (with 2 dividers); and math (with 3 dividers) — we suggest purchasing these after Registration Day so that you can color-coordinate with each class’s color on the schedule. Please be sure to add loose leaf paper to the binders, so students have it handy.
  • Two plastic pocket folders: one each for music class and history
  • Ruler with both metric and imperial units
  • Calculator (for math); if student is in Algebra I through Geometry, a TI-30XIIS (or the TI 84 Plus, which is more expensive and required for classes higher than Geometry); NO Casios, please
  • Thin-tip dry erase markers (various colors)
  • Colored pencils and markers
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Highlighters: yellow, orange, pink, blue, and green — for language arts
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes (no flip-flops, Crocs, clogs, etc.) — PE
  • Spiral bound 9×12 sketchbook — art
  • #2 pencils (and a pencil sharpener) or mechanical pencils with lead — these should be taken to every class
  • Students may wish to have a pencil bag to carry items from class to class
  • 6+ various sized paint brushes (big and small); drawing pencil; and empty plastic paint palette — art
