Junior High Supply List

We are currently updating this list for the 2024/2025 school year. Please note that changes will be made over the coming weeks, so you may wish to wait to buy school supplies until July. This list was updated July 8, 2024.
This list may be incomplete; teachers may provide students with additional items needed during the first days of school.

Community Use

These items should be dropped off on Registration Day or the first day of school on tables near the front office.

  • 4 pack of dry erase markers (various colors; for teacher use)
  • 3 reams of computer paper (1500 total sheets)
Personal Supply

Please note that other than the items listed under community supplies, all students are expected to have their own supplies of the following items. These items should be replenished as needed throughout the school year.

  • A journaling Bible (either NIV or NASB) – notes are taken in the Bible during class, so please buy one specifically for student use at FRCS (without doodles or drawings already in the margins); students may use the same Bible until they graduate, so returning students may use the one they used last year
  • Students will be provided a Chromebook for use on campus; they will need access to a computer at home, as well. Junior high students may not bring personal computing devices to school.
  • Backpack or book bag (rolling backpacks are not allowed)

  • Magnetic tape for locker décor (scotch tape is not allowed)
  • Book covers for textbooks (teachers will let students know which books must be covered)

Please be sure to add loose leaf paper to the binders, so students have it handy.

  • Manuscript paper notebook (for band students only; may use same notebook as last year)
  • Ruler with both metric and imperial units
  • Calculator (for math); if student is in Algebra I through Geometry, a TI-30 (or the TI 84 Plus, which is more expensive and required for classes higher than Geometry); NO Casios, please
