Elementary Teachers

Are you passionate about education and students in elementary (grades 1-6)? Do you enjoy teaching all subjects from a Biblical worldview to inspire and challenge your students? Do you have an elementary education degree and a track record of success in teaching elementary school children? If so, we might have the opening for you. Front Range Christian School is seeking applicants for a teacher in our elementary program. Qualified candidates will have the minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an education-related field and at least 2 years of teaching experience (preferred). A Colorado State Teaching License is preferred but not required. Candidates must be active and passionate followers of Jesus Christ and have a calling to serve Christ in the classroom. This full-time position is open for the 2025/2026 school year.

Qualified applicants will possess the following:

  • Effective management of the classroom with consistent and compassionate enforcement of established school-wide expectations for behavior and conduct
  • A strong background in teaching phonics-based reading
  • Ability to prepare lesson plans, materials, and media to support instruction based on established curriculum scope and sequence
  • Proven experience instructing students individually and in groups, using a variety of teaching methods, strategies and technologies–this includes the use of Apple technology (specifically the iPad)
  • Strength in observing and evaluating students’ performance, behavior, social and spiritual development, and physical health and then plan instruction accordingly; is able to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests
  • Willingness to meet and communicate regularly with parents by phone, email and in person
  • Consistency in integrating a Biblical worldview throughout all core subject instruction
  • Desire to plan outside instructional opportunities (field trips, guest experts) to enhance learning
  • Track record of teaching students to think and planning instruction based on higher order thinking; plans instruction in order to engage all students through inquiry, observation, examination, questioning and demonstration
  • The attitude of a lifelong learner with a humble, teachable spirit, able to receive constructive feedback and pursue personal excellence in instruction
  • A willingness to participate in and contribute to a cohesive K-12 instructional emphasis (scope and sequence) through regular interaction with junior and senior high school teachers

Pay is commensurate with experience and starts at $37,000 annually.

Preschool Lead Teacher

Our Early Childhood Education program is looking for a talented, educated and faith based Preschool teacher who loves children. We are looking for a lead teacher specific to Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. Our program is built on professional teaching, great customer service and parent partnerships. Qualified lead teachers will possess positive Christian character, understand age-appropriate curriculum, demonstrate classroom management, and positive discipline strategies.

Pay is hourly and ranges from $19-$21 per hour. The work schedule includes school days from August to May, between 7:30am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Salaries are negotiable based on education and experience.

RISE (Special Education) Coordinator (Jr/Sr High; full time)

Front Range Christian School seeks a full-time Special Education Coordinator for the 2025/2026 school year. This individual is responsible for serving the learning needs of students in our special education/RISE program. The Special Education Coordinator is responsible for a teaching load as well as for overseeing the RISE program.

Individuals who value classroom discipleship, who have a background in special education, and who have experience in program leadership are encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in education, a background in special education, or experience serving diverse student needs. Candidates with classroom experience, a teaching credential, or an advanced degree are preferred. Pay is commensurate with experience and starts at $45,000 annually.

Science Teacher (senior high, full time)

Front Range Christian School seeks a full-time high-school science teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. Individuals who value relational education, scientific inquiry, and classroom discipleship are highly encouraged to apply.

Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in the subject area or in the field of education. Candidates with classroom experience, a teaching credential, or an advanced degree are preferred. Pay is commensurate with experience and starts at $40,000 annually.

Varsity Boys Basketball Coach (senior high; seasonal)

Front Range Christian School seeks a coach to teach and train our Varsity Boys Basketball Team, help players improve their basketball skills, and manage the Boys Basketball program at FRCS. This position also provides many opportunities to invest in the lives of these young players.

Duties

  • Organizing and administering all aspects of the boys’ basketball programs for Varsity, Junior Varsity, C-level, and middle school teams
  • Creating, developing and implementing a system for players to grow spiritually and physically through the game of basketball
  • Coaching athletes in practices and games
  • Hiring and supervision of coaching staffs and overseeing the boys’ staff and teams, middle school through senior high
  • Organize and run summer/fall basketball open-gym program in addition to November through March regular season program
  • Direct involvement with fundraising for the athletic department in partnership with the Falcon Club
  • Limited other duties may be assigned

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of high school basketball practices and regulations
  • Ability to effectively coach and teach student-athletes
  • Demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport and relations with players, administrators, faculty, parents, and the public
  • Must have a sound Christian base and the ability to minister to student-athletes
  • Be current on all CHSAA tests, concussion protocols, First Aid, CPR, and AED training

Varsity Cheer Coach (senior high; seasonal)

Front Range Christian School seeks qualified candidates for the position of Varsity Head Cheer Coach (competitive cheer).

Duties

  • Organizing and administrating all aspects of the Cheer programs for senior high and junior high teams
  • Creating, developing and implementing a system for players to grow both spiritually and physically through cheer
  • Coaching athletes in practices and competitions, hiring and supervision of coaching staffs and overseeing the girls’ staffs and teams, junior high through senior high
  • Organize and run late spring/summer cheer tryouts and practices in addition to August through December regular season and state competition
  • Creating a routine with music to be performed at competition
  • Direct involvement with program-specific fund-raising
  • Limited additional duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of high school cheer, creating and implementing cheer routines, ability to effectively coach and teach student-athletes
  • Ability to establish positive rapport and relations with players, administrators, faculty, parents and general public.
  • Must have a sound Christian base and the ability to minister to student-athletes. Need to be up to date on the cheer routines, cheer language, etc.
