Are you passionate about preteens and students in 6th grade? Do you enjoy teaching from a Biblical worldview to inspire and challenge your students? If so, we might have the opening for you. Front Range Christian School seeks a 6th grade elementary homeroom teacher with a math and science specialization. Qualified candidates will have the minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an education-related field and at least 2 years of teaching experience (preferred). A Colorado State Teaching License and ACSI certification are preferred but not required. Qualified applicants will possess the following:
Effective management of the classroom with consistent and compassionate enforcement of established school-wide expectations for behavior and conduct
A strong background in teaching math and science
Ability to prepare lesson plans, materials, and media to support instruction based on established curriculum scope and sequence
Proven experience instructing students individually and in groups, using a variety of teaching methods, strategies and technologies–this includes the use of Apple technology (specifically the iPad) and Lexia Reading web-based literacy software
Strength in observing and evaluating students’ performance, behavior, social and spiritual development, and physical health and then plan instruction accordingly; is able to adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests
Willingness to meet and communicate regularly with parents by phone, email and in person
Consistency in integrating a Biblical worldview throughout all core subject instruction
Desire to plan outside instructional opportunities (field trips, guest experts) to enhance learning
Track record of teaching students to think and planning instruction based on higher order thinking; plans instruction in order to engage all students through inquiry, observation, examination, questioning and demonstration
The attitude of a lifelong learner with a humble, teachable spirit, able to receive constructive feedback and pursue personal excellence in instruction
A willingness to participate in and contribute to a cohesive K-12 instructional emphasis (scope and sequence) through regular interaction with junior and senior high school teachers

Front Range Christian School seeks a College Counselor to assist students and families in planning for academic success during high school with an eye toward college admission. Specific responsibilities include meeting with students and families to discuss course selection to ensure students are on-track to graduate, developing relationships with different colleges and universities, teaching a class called “College, Career, and Calling,” and assisting students and families in applying for college — navigating financial aid, coordinating an on-campus College Fair, and coordinating standardized testing. Experience with college admissions is a plus and experience in college counseling is preferred.

Front Range Christian School seeks a part time instructor to teach cooking electives at our senior high school. Our campus is equipped with a culinary classroom. The position is open for the 2024/2025 school year and provides incredible opportunities to mentor students both inside and outside of class.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, culinary arts, or a related field. Exceptional candidates will exhibit a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ; have extensive experience in the kitchen and teaching others to master both the basics and the finer nuances of the culinary arts; and possess a passion for youth and equipping them for life on their own. If you have a passion for running and a desire to mentor young student/athletes in both the sport and in being a godly athlete, we might have the opportunity for you. Front Range Christian School is looking for a coach to teach and train our Varsity Cross Country Team, help runners improve their skills, and manage the Cross Country program at FRCS. This position also provides many opportunities to invest in the lives of these young players.
Duties
Organizing and administrating all aspects of the Cross Country program, including junior high teams
Creating, developing and implementing a training guide/running program to grow spiritually and physically through the sport of cross country
Coaching athletes in practices and meets
Hiring and supervision of coaching staffs and overseeing the cross country staffs and teams, junior high through high school
Organize and run summer open runs, races, etc. in addition to August through October regular season program
Direct involvement with the Falcon Club fundraising for the athletic department
Limited other duties may be assigned
Required Skills
Knowledge of high school cross country and regulations
Ability to effectively coach and teach student-athletes
Demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport and relations with players,
administrators, faculty, parents, and the general public
Must have a sound Christian base and the ability to minister to student-athletes

Front Range Christian School seeks a full time music and band teacher for our junior and senior high campus. The successful candidate will display a committed, personal, and passionate relationship with Jesus Christ; have a bachelor’s degree in music, music education, or worship arts; and a commitment to excellence in and education of the arts. Do you have a passion for Christian education and a background in office administration? Are you organized and friendly with a heart for serving others? Do you enjoy and feel comfortable around elementary-aged children? If so, you might be the person we’re looking for! FRCS is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our elementary campus. The right candidate will have experience in office work, whether in secular or Christian environments. The successful candidate will be an active and passionate follower of Jesus Christ with a calling to serve Christ in an administrative support role to a team of professional educators, administrators, Christian school students, and their families.
This position reports to the Elementary Office Manager and works 16 hours a week during the school year (no summer hours). This is a part-time position, and starting pay is $14.42/hour.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
This professional administrative assistant will work directly with the Elementary Office Manager. Tasks include but are not limited to:
Be one of the faces of the FRCS. The assistant will answer the phone and greet and assist all guests and parents. Recognize the need for good public relations and use professional customer service skills and treat others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.
Maintain student attendance records
Print weekly attendance reports
Assist with first aid needs and medication dispensing
Properly document all provided medical services as instructed by the school nurse
Coordinate student needs with school nurse
Maintain student files (electronic)
Assist with student needs (calling parents, missing lunches/homework, etc.)
Complete various tasks including copying, filing, laminating, and grading
Assist teachers and other staff members
Assist with drop-off, pick-up, recess and lunch duties
Maintain supplies and cleanliness of the copy room, lunchroom, and printer areas
Prepare weekly Elementary Notes
Be familiar with all emergency procedures and assist in any emergency situation
Operations – Maintaining communications with facilities and IT staff and coordinating efforts to address needs regarding facilities, grounds, furniture, equipment, etc.
Answering phones, taking messages, and forwarding calls as needed
Be detail-oriented when doing all tasks
Other projects that come up throughout the school year
Qualifications:
Has a growing and vital relationship with Jesus Christ
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and is friendly, compassionate and kind; is able to establish positive and ongoing relationships with teaching staff, parents and students
Outstanding computer skills, particularly with MS Word, Excel, Google docs, and MS Publisher; experience with FACTS SIS campus management program a plus

A minimum of two years of experience in the classroom is preferred, as is a Colorado State or ACSI teaching license. The successful candidate will have a strong oral proficiency in Spanish and a familiarity with a comprehensible input/TPRS approach to Spanish instruction. He or she will begin teaching in the fall of 2024. Pay for this full-time position is based on experience and teaching load and ranges from $35,000-45,000 annually.
