Falcons Baseball - 2026 Regional Champions

Regional Champions!

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball Team who are 2A Regional Champions!

On Saturday, May 16, Falcons Baseball went to Estes Park for regional playoffs. Competing that day were Estes Park (#4 seed), Crowley Country (#13 seed), FRCS (#20 seed) and Meeker (#29 seed).

Estes Park played first and beat Meeker 9-5. Then FRCS played Crowley County and FRCS won 13-1. Then the last game of the day was Estes Park vs FRCS. Haedan Morton pitched an amazing game, and FRCS held on to make it a thrilling 4-3 win to take the Regional Championship.

Your Falcons now move on to the State Tournament in Pueblo at Runyon Park, where they are the #8 seed. The tournament is a double elimination tournament and happens the week of May 22-23 and May 29-30 (scroll down for the location and schedule).

Go, Falcons!

If they do not win their first game, they will play at 9am on Saturday, May 23, on Hobbs Field versus the loser of the Monte Vista/Peyton game. If they win this game, they will play again at 11:30am on Saturday, May 23, also on Hobbs Field.
