The goat. The GOAT stands alone in perfect majesty. The Greatest Of All Time is our Lord and Savior, no doubt. As I was in the canyon this past week I couldn’t help but chuckle at this proud, agile creature. In effective leadership, it is the rock that holds up the leader. The rocks that surround leaders are the truest, strongest and mightiest building blocks.
If you stand alone, you will be alone. Surround yourself with people that will help hold you up through all of your troubles, and recognize their wisdom to help. I have been extremely blessed to be held up by teacher rocks. The wise man built his house upon the rock. Be a rock, not a lonely old goat.
Have a blessed weekend with your little “rock” stars. Give them strength, hope, and encouragement as you keep the arrow straight and narrow to the gate.
