A word from … FRCS Instructional Coaches

At Front Range Christian School, we are committed to providing a quality, faith-infused education that is designed to value each individual student as we raise up Christian scholars. Our dedication to training and equipping teachers at every level is core to our pursuit of academic excellence.

As a school, we want to continue to share the intentional ways we regularly pursue academic excellence within our walls. Following are two core approaches we utilize as a school.

Teacher Mentor Program

To support each member of our staff, all new-to-FRCS teachers are paired with a veteran teacher to meet with and work alongside regularly. This intentional partnership is integral in training and equipping teachers. Throughout the duration of this program and beyond, teachers work together through practical and regular collaboration. This invested partnership ensures the implementation of the core values of a quality, Christian education into each teacher’s classroom.

Instructional Coaches

The purpose of an instructional coach is to observe and engage in all classrooms, working to implement best teaching practices among our staff to support student success. Collaboration, regular self-reflection, goal setting, and observations are essential components of an instructional coach’s job.

At FRCS, students are challenged to think for themselves: to pursue questions of purpose and faith; to think critically about the world around them so that they can engage it, not avoid it; to make their faith their own so that they can remain strong in it even after they graduate
