Late December 2025, Front Range Christian School became the proud owner of a car wash—yes, the car wash that sits at the main entrance to our school!
Why did we buy it? For over 20 years, many people in our community have prayed that the car wash land would become available at a reasonable price so that the school could purchase it and eventually expand our sports complex in that location. It would be a place for our baseball teams to call home with potential to add softball teams and other sports which could take advantage of a multi-use field. It is both exciting and humbling to see God honor those faithful prayers at just the right time for the school to be in a place to acquire the property.
So now we own a car wash. How do we get from what it is now to building our own baseball, softball, and multipurpose sports field to complement Falcon Field? Simple…we all keep our cars clean!
Through some number crunching and advice from a car wash consultant, we have calculated that a car wash of this size should provide enough revenue to build the complex within the next three to five years, if 1000 people per week use our car wash. So, if FRCS families commit to washing their own cars and invite local friends and family to wash their cars, too, we are well on our way to achieving that goal. But don’t think we’re solely depending on you to help us reach this goal. We are also putting a team together to help us promote the car wash in the neighborhood and expand business to others in the area.
