
Overall Time Expectation
The average Falcon Club board member serves 2-4 hours per month. Some months require less time and others, such as peak sport seasons, may require a bit more.
Board Structure (8-12 members)
- Sport Team Lead (soccer, basketball, football, baseball, golf, cross country, poms, and volleyball)
- Other team leads: booster, fundraising, development, community, branding, school spirit (oversees school-wide booster efforts)
Available Role Specifics
Sport Team Leads
- Estimated commitment: 2-3 hours per month
- Seasonal note: During your sport’s active season, commitment leans closer to 3 hours per month; off-season months are often lighter)
- Serves as liaison between Falcon Club and your sport’s coaches/program
- Attend monthly Falcon Club meetings (approximately 60-90 minutes)
- Help coordinate 1-2 sport-specific needs per season (communication, support, or events)
- Share feedback, needs, or opportunities from your sport
Booster/Fundraising and other Leads
- Estimated commitment: 2-3 hours per month
- Coordinate school-wide athletic booster efforts
- Partner with Athletic Department leadership on fundraising priorities
- Support or organize 1-2 key fundraising initiatives during the year (alongside the event coordinator)
- Attend monthly Falcon Club meetings (app. 60-90 minutes)
For all roles:
- Monthly Falcon Club meetings (60-90 minutes)
- Additional communication handled primarily via email or shared documents
- No weekly commitment required
