Athletic Highlights from September 8-13

Boys soccer is on a roll with the middle school team playing well against a competitive Aspen Academy and winning 5-2. Meanwhile the varsity team traveled to Fort Collins to face off against Front Range Baptist and won 9-0. The Varsity team also competed against Mile High Academy, winning 10-2. In their first league game, the Varsity team took on SkyView Academy. They played hard and gave SkyView some tough competition, but ended up losing 2-3.

Varsity volleyball competed in a tournament hosted by Denver Christian. They did well throughout the tournament but really turned it up at the end to beat Fountain Valley. The team also ventured to Estes Park, where they won in four sets. Middle school volleyball competed in a tournament hosted by Gilpin County Schools and both the silver and black teams took first place in their divisions.

Meanwhile, the golf team continues their impressive appearances finishing 2nd in the Mile High League Tournament at Hyland Hills. Haedan Morton shot a 76, Max Morton shot an 84, and Noah Angel shot an 87.
