I love that the desire of FRCS’s staff and faculty is to know God more and more, in order to lead the children who walk into the doors of FRCS into a life with Christ. I can’t begin to express my appreciation for the welcoming, loving, and God-fearing community that has been created here at Front Range Christian School.
Five books, other than the Bible, that have impacted my faith or career.
Anything by Max Lucado, but some of my favorites are:
When I’m not at FRCS, I am enjoying time with my daughter Truly and our dog Copper. We go everywhere together! In the summer, we love to take our pop up trailer camping in the mountains, or we’ll take a road trip to another state, and camp at a fun KOA. So far, we’ve road tripped and camped at many spots through Colorado, Utah, California, and Arizona. In the fall, we have a tradition of driving to the mountains to see the Aspens, as their leaves change colors. And in the winter, we go skiing and snowboarding (Copper has to sit out for that one)! I also love being at my church, Red Rocks Church. I serve on Sundays in the children’s ministry, Kids Rock. Whether its checking in families as a greeter, snuggling and rocking babies to sleep, crafting with the toddlers, or singing and dancing with the older kiddos, I just LOVE being in the presence of God, and watching Him at work in the lives of young children.
Believe it or not, I played all four years of basketball on my high school’s varsity basketball team! I loved playing basketball. It taught me so many valuable lessons, and I made lifelong memories and friendships.
