- Transit by Shawn Johnson (his Christian testimony that has helped direct my thoughts and prayers)
- Chasing Failure by Ryan Leak (discusses how God leads us in our journey to Him but if we do not try because we are afraid of failure, then we will never succeed — thus, in order to succeed in anything you must first chase failure)
- Gateways to Art by Debra J. Dewittle (provided amazing insight to the world of art education)
- Bridging the Curriculum through Art by Pam Stephens (same as above)
- The Perfect Blindside by Leslea Wahl (my favorite book — takes the reader through twists and turns and ultimately shows what a strong faith can do in our lives)
