My favorite thing about FRCS is the community, it’s like a family. I have been on staff for 10 years and have been a family here since 1999. Both my children graduated from FRCS and I now have one of my grandchildren attending FRCS. I love that we have the opportunity to pour into our students; I love that we can partner with families in raising up students to impact the world for Christ. I love that we can pray with our students, our staff, and our families openly. I’m passionate about Christian Education and firmly believe that the faith foundation is built in the early years. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” It matters who we choose to partner with in raising up our children because it takes a village.
I enjoy taking off to Nebraska for the weekend — the peace and quiet it brings along with the wonder of God all around me in that quiet place. I enjoy spending time in my garden, I love the flowers, I love watching the sunsets in Nebraska. I enjoy sitting in a quiet place, drinking a cup of tea, reading, praying, and listening to God as He meets me right where I am. I love worshiping the Lord in church, in my car, in the garden, and in an open pasture with or without animals. I love to look at something and see what it could be vs what it is. Fun fact is that I played volleyball, ran track and was on the ski team in high school.
