  1. Elementary parents who desire their child or children to walk from the elementary campus to the junior/senior high after school may be allowed to do so if they have an older sibling present and available after school at the junior/senior high campus.

  2. The children who walk between campuses will be instructed by their parents to remain on the school grounds sidewalk so as to avoid the blacktop and after school pick-up traffic.

  3. The children who walk will use the buddy system and never walk alone.

  4. FRCS administration requests that your elementary child or children, when entering the junior/senior high campus, find their sibling or coach/teacher and remain with them.

  5. If Holy Grounds is open, and your child wants to pick up a snack before heading over to the upper campus, they are free to do so, but they should not linger in the café. We ask that they make their purchase and head directly to the junior/senior high campus.

  6. Elementary parents understand that if their child or children abuse this walking privilege it may be revoked. Abuse is defined as:

    • Failure to stay on the sidewalk.
    • Failure to walk with a buddy.
    • Roaming unsupervised throughout the upper campus facility.
    • Causing damage to school property or a disturbance to the school environment.
    • Going into unauthorized areas of the school such as the teacher’s lounge, teacher’s restrooms, classrooms (unless a teacher is present and gives permission), storage areas, etc.
    • Failure to link up with their sibling or an adult at the upper campus.

I have read and accept the “Permission to Walk” expectations as stated above. I have also explained this policy to my child(ren) and together we accept responsibility for the proper exercise of this school walking privilege.

I give permission for my daughter/son, {name-1-first-name} {name-1-last-name}, to walk (without adult supervision) from FRCS’s elementary campus to the junior/ senior high school campus after school for the duration of the 2024/2025 school year. I understand that no adult supervision will be provided, and I accept the risk and responsibility for this decision.

FRCS Sports Eligibility Requirements

enter EXACTLY as you typed it in the main acknowledgement form above
  • All athletes must be certified as eligible to begin the year based on a review of their previous academic year grades based on CHSAA and FRCS requirements.

  • Once the academic year begins at FRCS, eligibility checks will be done once every 9 weeks. If an athlete fails to meet the conditions below, they will be ineligible to compete in any scrimmages or competitions until the next eligibility report cycle (the following 9 weeks).

In order to be eligible for the current season the athlete must:

  1. Be at a minimum of 2.5 Carnegie units* each semester.
  2. Have no letter grades at or below an “F” (59% or below).

*Carnegie Unit– a measure of the amount of time a student has studied a subject. For example, a total of 120 hours in one subject—meeting 4 or 5 times a week for 40 to 60 minutes, for 36 to 40 weeks each year—earns the student one “unit” of high school credit

I have read and understand FRCS’s Sports Eligibility Requirements.

As a parent of a student athlete, I am making an investment in my child and in the athletic program as a whole. As a parent of an FRCS athlete, I commit myself to the following:

  1. Love the Lord my God with all my heart, all my soul and all my strength.
  2. Pray with my student athlete to encourage him/her to glorify their Lord and Savior on and off the playing field.
  3. Cheer in a positive manner exhibiting Christ-like behavior. Maintain perspective and be in control of my emotions.
  4. Let the coaches’ coach. Resist the temptation to coach from the sidelines. Keep clear of the team bench.
  5. Never approach a coach, athlete, referee, or school official regarding a ruling on the field of play.
  6. Maintain the Matthew 18 principle of going directly to the source of my frustration regarding a coach, player etc if there are issues. Be mindful first to bring the frustration before the Lord in prayer.
  7. If my student athlete takes issue with a coaching decision, I will advise them to talk with their coach regarding their feelings.
  8. Avoid derogatory remarks towards officials, coaches, and other players as this only weakens the team.
  9. Focus on performance and effort of the student athlete, not on outcome. Winning or losing is not the only indication of success.
  10. Helping further and advance the mission and vision of the FRCS Athletic Department.
  1. Help with transportation of student athletes to and from away games. Student athletes should not drive themselves to any away games. Some circumstances may be at the discretion of the Head Coach.
  2. Support the eligibility requirements of your student athlete.
  3. Attend mandatory athletic meetings for each sport prior to the start of each season.
  4. Supervise your other children at all times at home and away games.
  5. Have your athlete’s physical completed each year they are participating in school sports.
  6. Uphold school rules regarding dress code at games.
  7. Pick up students after all practices and games in a timely manner.
  8. Read all materials distributed from coaches to you or your student/athlete.
  9. Serve in any capacity as needed, when available (for example Falcon Club, helping with gate, concessions, cleaning, or officiating).
  10. Pay the Athletic Fee in full by the end of the first week of the season. No refund will be given.

By signing this, you agree to uphold all of the above expectations and commitments to the best of your ability. In addition, you are agreeing to hold all family members and friends that enter into the Front Range community to the above expectations and commitments.
