If you have questions, please email Lisa Newell at lnewell@frcs.org.

Registration Day

New Students and All 1st Grade Students

New students, including all 1st grade students, and at least ONE of their parents are asked to attend Registration Day from 7:30-9:30am. You will have the opportunity to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, and pick up your Registration Day packet.

Returning Students

Returning families with students grades 2-6 should come to Registration Day between 9:30-11:30am. Weather permitting, all activities happen outside on the east side of the Elementary campus. Families may pick up their packet, which contains information about the upcoming year and a copy of all necessary forms; meet teachers; and drop off school supplies. All forms, except medical forms, are due on the first day of school, and you are welcome to complete them at Registration Day, if you choose.

Attending Elementary Registration Day is optional. Forms must still be completed and turned in on the first day of school. If you ask someone else to pick up your packet for you, please email Lisa Newell at lnewell@frcs.org to let her know.

Health Policies

We cannot administer any medication without the Over the Counter Medication or Prescription Medication forms being filled out by your doctor. Use the button below to access forms and print the ones you need, ask your doctor to fill them out, and bring them to Registration Day with your unopened medications.

If your child requires rescue medication of any kind (seizure meds, EpiPen, inhalers, insulin/glucagon) he/she will not be allowed to start school without the required paperwork and medication.

If your student will have a medical or non-medical exemption from required vaccinations, please use the button below for information on what is required. Note that exemptions must be completed each year.

SUPPLY LISTS

Elementary Fees

Elementary fees cover field trips; year-end celebrations; instruments (specific grades only); outdoor experience (6th grade only); and a school t-shirt. All ’25/’26 fees, such as required and miscellaneous fees, are invoiced through your existing FACTS account and paid using auto pay.

There are required fees for all elementary families and several miscellaneous fees which are optional. See the fee sheet (available on the Family Portal) for more details. If your family needs a recorder or the recorder book (3rd grade) or a ukulele (4th grade), please email Lisa Newell, so those miscellaneous fees can be added to your account.

Please remember that all school fees are added to your FACTS payment account (all FACTS accounts are active for the 2025/2026 school year, and autopay is enabled for all families). You will receive an invoice via email for these school fees on July 14 with a due date of August 8. Payment of the invoice is made automatically on the due date using the payment information currently on file within FACTS. If you prefer to pay from a different bank account or by credit/debit card, please log in to your FACTS account prior to the due date and add the other form of payment. NOTE: If you elect to pay by credit/debit card, credit card fees will be added to the invoice total.

Other Important Information and Reminders

Dress Code Reminder

As you are out shopping and thinking about the coming school year, please consider the FRCS dress code. The intention of the dress code is:

  • to encourage students to attire themselves in a manner that is practical, suitable, and safe for school activities and that discourages unnecessary distractions
  • to nurture student and parent responsibility for maintaining appearance that emanates from a Biblical worldview and doesn’t cause a brother or sister to stumble
  • to provide guidelines for an overall humble and modest approach to dress

For specific examples, please refer  to the Family Handbook

Class Lists

Class lists are being prepared, though there may be changes as new students are enrolled (sometimes even during the first week of school). Any decisions about splitting classes are made by Elementary Principal Mrs. Hart.

A lot of time and prayer go into creating our class lists each year, so please do not request to have your child moved to another section.

Class lists will be distributed on Registration Day.

Tardy Policy

The Elementary Tardy Policy exists to maximize our instruction time. We encourage families to arrive at school from 7:40-7:55 to allow classes to begin promptly at 8am. A student will be considered tardy if arriving after 8am and will need a parent or guardian to sign them in at the elementary office. See the Elementary school tardy policy under “Attendance” in the Family Handbook.

Elementary Drop Off Times

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, students may be dropped off between 7:40-7:55am — teachers begin class promptly at 8am.

Wednesday is a late start day for both Elementary and Jr/Sr High. Drop off time for the elementary begins at 8:15am, with classes beginning promptly at 8:30am.
