FRCS is starting a new Overcome group for adults in our community. Overcome groups exist to create space for mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. If you are working to be well in the midst of chaos or suffering, or love someone who is, please join us! Overcome is open to all FRCS parents, staff, friends, and neighbors. Overcome is an 8-week, peer-led group experience designed to help you build relationships, gain tools for wellness, and deepen your faith. Under the guidance of trained peer facilitators, group members meet weekly in a small group setting that emphasizes safety and respect while exploring biblical truths about hope in the midst of suffering.

The group meets for eight weeks in the Elementary FDC beginning March 12 and concluding on May 7. There is not cost to participate. Participant workbooks may be downloaded as a PDF at no cost or spiral bound physical copies may be purchased for $24.

Anchor International

Anchor International is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to bringing hope and belonging for people walking through mental health challenges. We do this by equipping churches and organizations to promote mental wellness through peer-led support groups, like Overcome. As a community of peers who have personally experienced mental health struggles, we’re passionate about creating a world where no one has to walk this journey alone.

We developed Overcome as a group experience for people of all backgrounds who want to grow in mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It’s an opportunity for exploration and discovery; a place where you can be yourself and have real, honest conversations. Overcome is not a classroom or clinic: we don’t gather to teach or fix one another. In this place, every person is respected and valued for who they are, right where they are.

Through your participation in Overcome, we hope you’ll experience a sense of belonging as you build relationships, gain tools for wellness, and deepen your faith. We also hope that you’ll leave inspired to let your light shine a little brighter as you live out your unique gifts and share your story with others.
