Summer camps at FRCS provide fun activities over the summer designed to keep students connected to each other while learning new skills. Most of our summer camps revolve around our athletic programs, but we have had other camps that inspire creativity and learning in fun environments.
Grades refer to the camper’s grade in the fall of 2024.
Camps will be added here as we have details. They are listed in alphabetical order; you can go to a specific camp from this list:

The Fine Arts department is once again offering private music lessons and group classes over the summer, including voice, piano, and drums/percussion (if you have experience teaching bass or guitar and would like to offer private lessons through FRCS, please email Amy Sutherland with your experience and interest).
In this unique summer camp, campers are invited to explore their creativity while having fun and making something new each day that they can take home to enjoy! The camp runs June 3-6 and is open to students entering 2nd-6th grade in the fall of 2024. Campers are welcome to sign up for individual days ($65 each) or all four ($200). Included in the cost of camp are daily snacks and and all supplies needed to complete each project. Students should bring a sack lunch and water bottle to camp each day.
Campers will enjoy a full day (9am-3pm) of creation, games, and play. In addition to working on our projects, we’ll also spend some time on the outside on the playground and playing games such as kickball, capture the flag, tag, and more! We strongly encourage campers to wear and bring sunscreen for our outdoor activities.
Students will receive instruction specific to their instrument as well as in the group setting of a band. They will learn basic music theory, improve their practice skills, instrumental skills, and have fun in the process. This camp is a great way to prepare for the coming year and is ideal for anyone interested in joining Chapel Team OR Contemporary Band Elective. Students will be grouped according to their ability level and will be challenged to grow in their musical abilities in an ensemble setting.
Students MUST have some experience on their instrument. If they are a beginner they should consider lessons or group classes instead. Instructor permission or audition is REQUIRED in order to participate in this camp. Fill out the brief form below to apply to participate in the camp, and we will respond with details for admission or audition as appropriate.
