Form Character and Cultivate Community to Impact Culture.
Psalm 139: 13-14 – Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!
At FRCS we want to know each student’s story, feel welcomed and loved.
What is your name? Where are you from? What are your hobbies? What experiences have shaped you? Who do you know? Where have you been? We want to know your story. We want to have genuine conversations with students by sharing moments and milestones of their story.
We desire for students to feel loved. Students will be encouraged to be transparent. We want to appreciate the whole you.
Partnership with the student’s parents, teachers, dGroup leaders, and school community is critical. Through this holistic partnership the counseling department desires for people to be involved.
Proverbs 27:17 – Iron Sharpens Iron!
Cultivation starts within the FRCS community. Our goal is to help create awareness for students of who they are, who they were born to be, and who God needs them to be.
No two snowflakes are alike and no creations are either. We want students to love who God made them to be. Each students has been crafted beautifully and uniquely to reflect the glory of God.
Our students will be trained and equipped holistically. Students will examine themselves personally, academically, vocationally and spiritually according to their designs. Then in turn develop those skills for application.
We believe that in order to develop into something great student’s need to take risks. That means stretch oneself physically, mentally, academically, emotionally and spiritually. We will encourage you to try something risky daily.
Mark 16:15 – Go into the World
We believe that in order for a student to truly flourish in life after high school, they will be able to impact whatever culture they enter.
Students have been given a multitude of gifts that can be used to glorify God. We will examine how students can lead and serve through their callings.
We want our students to become courageous. Students at FRCS will be encouraged to unafraid of what the culture bias says and stand on truth of God is.
Ultimately we want students to become culture makers who create, sustain, and embody any culture that glorifies God. Our hope is that after graduation FRCS students use their callings to impact the world for Christ by being culture makers.
