Affordable and Safe After School Care

The Falcon After School Program provides FRCS families a safe environment for students to get an early start to homework and have some fun with friends. The program is available for students grades K-6 and meets after school till 5pm on school days, both full and half days. Parents are asked to pick up their children before 5:30pm. The Falcon After School Program is not available on school holidays, during school breaks, or on days when the school is closed, such as snow days.

Activities focus on faith, Bible, character, problem solving and homework. This may include snacks (provided by parents), outdoor play, crafts, games, puzzles, skits, science, art, music, and more. While it is our desire to limit screen time in the Falcon After School Program, school computing devices are available for homework; students also have access to homework help.

The program runs 3:15-5pm on regular school days with pickup from 5-5:30pm. Students are dismissed from class at 3pm and should report Falcon After School Program area by 3:15pm; younger children will be accompanied as appropriate. On half days, students are typically dismissed at 11:30am and should report to the Falcon After School Program area by 11:45am. On half days, the program runs till 4pm.

Please note that the program only runs on days when school is in session. Care is not available during school breaks, holidays, or when the school is closed.

The Falcon After School Program is located in suite A-12 (on the elementary side of campus).

Costs for 2024/2025

Please note that all costs are per month, and they are fixed rates. For budgeting convenience, the costs have been averaged over the 9.5 months of the program, taking into account holidays, breaks, school closings, half days, etc.

Registration Fee: $125 per student per year or $75 per student per semester.

Space is limited, and drop-in days are not available unless approved by the after school manager; $25/day for drop-ins if approved and space is available.

Other Information

Late Fees: If you arrive after 5:30pm an additional fee applies — $1 per minute rounded up to the nearest 5-minute increment (5:31-5:35 = $5; 5:36-5:40 = $10, etc.); parents who arrive after 6pm are charged $30 (for 30 minutes) plus an additional $25. Parents who are late will be issued a late form indicating fees owed; the form and payment for fees must be turned in to either Falcon After School Program staff or to the office within one week or your spot in the program may be terminated.

Our mission is to continue to provide balance for our students at school and home, while being mindful of our working parents.
The program is provided at minimal cost.

To ensure your child’s spot, please complete the registration form (available from the Elementary Office), and turn it in to the elementary office as soon as possible.
