DESCRIPTION:FRCS is proud to announce the launch of our new competitive Pom/Sideline Spirit Team—a discipleship-driven program designed to develop confident\, Christ-centered leaders both on and off the floor. Join us for teamwork skill-building\, and joyful competition! \nWhy join?\n\nGrow leadership\, character\, and teamwork through discipleship-based coaching\nBuild confidence rooted in faith and sportsmanship\nPursue excellence in performance while having fun and making friends\n\nProgram Options\n\nSenior high competitive team: focused on routines and contests\nSpirit team (available at senior high and middle school level): focused on school spirit\, game day performances\, and community events\n\nSeason & commitment\n\nMiddle school: August through December\nSenior High: May through December\nPractices: 3-4 days per week + additional rehearsals during competition prep\n\nNext steps\n\nAttend informational meeting for season details\, expectations\, and tryout information\n\nStudent interest* meetings are February 23 in Holy Grounds during lunch (11:40-12:20 for junior high and 12:20-1:15 for senior high)\nParent meeting is March 11 at 6:30pm in Holy Grounds — parents of girls currently grades 5-11 encouraged to attend\n\n\nPrepare for team tryouts and submit required forms and fees\n\n*for current junior and senior high students; girls currently grades 5-6 should talk to their parents about attending the parent meeting \nWe’re excited to see what God will do through this program. SUMMARY:Adult Overcome Group
DESCRIPTION:FRCS is starting a new Overcome group for adults in our community. Overcome groups exist to create space for mental\, emotional\, and spiritual wellness. If you are working to be well in the midst of chaos or suffering\, or love someone who is\, please join us! Overcome is open to all FRCS parents\, staff\, friends\, and neighbors. Overcome is an 8-week\, peer-led group experience designed to help you build relationships\, gain tools for wellness\, and deepen your faith. Under the guidance of trained peer facilitators\, group members meet weekly in a small group setting that emphasizes safety and respect while exploring biblical truths about hope in the midst of suffering. \nThe group meets for eight weeks in the Elementary FDC beginning March 12 and concluding on May 7. There is not cost to participate. We do this by equipping churches and organizations to promote mental wellness through peer-led support groups\, like Overcome. As a community of peers who have personally experienced mental health struggles\, we’re passionate about creating a world where no one has to walk this journey alone. \nWe developed Overcome as a group experience for people of all backgrounds who want to grow in mental\, emotional\, and spiritual health. It’s an opportunity for exploration and discovery; a place where you can be yourself and have real\, honest conversations. Overcome is not a classroom or clinic: we don’t gather to teach or fix one another.
