SUMMARY:All School Registration Day
DESCRIPTION:This information was updated on August 11\, 2026 (weather notice) \nNotice\nThe forecast for today is calling for rain\, and it could be a significant amount. If it is raining heavily between 9am and 4pm\, activities will be moved indoors. If you need assistance knowing where to go\, please visit the front office for the appropriate campus. And thank you for your patience as we navigate Colorado’s crazy weather. \nJoin us for Registration Day as we kick off the 2026/2027 school year!\nAll FRCS families are invited to join us for Registration Day on Thursday\, August 13. If your 6th grade student wishes to play any middle school sports\, those fees are in addition to regular fees. Elementary families will be invoiced for fees on August 5\, and auto-drafted on August 19. \nJr/Sr High students have required fees that cover things like retreats\, community days\, standardized testing\, yearbooks\, a school t-shirt\, and more. The Junior High required fee is $390 and the Senior High required fee is $435. Jr/Sr High families will be invoiced for fees on July 13\, and auto-drafted on August 10. Fees that apply to classes your student is taking (AP Courses\, NHS\, and electives) are invoiced after the add-drop period. Fees that pertain to sports and theater productions are invoiced at the beginning of those seasons. \nFees are invoiced through your existing FACTS account and automatically paid using the payment method on record in FACTS (though you can choose to make payments manually prior to the due date). If you prefer to pay from a different bank or account or by credit/debit card\, please log in to your FACTS account prior to the due date and add the other form of payment. NOTE: If you elect to pay by credit/debit card\, associated processing fees will be added to the invoice total. \nPlease refer to fee sheets (found on the Family Portal) for specific details about fees. \n \n\nSign the photo release form\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. \n in Student use\n \n \n Parent/Guardian name *FirstLastEmail *\n Student information\n Student name *FirstLastStudent grade *--- Select Choice ---Preschool/PreKKindergarten1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th8th9th10th11th12th\n \n Add\n \n \n Remove\n \n Release details\nPhotos or videos may be taken in class or during school events\, including fine arts and athletics. To protect our students\, we avoid including student information (such as names)\, except when the student's name or other details are important to the photo; e.g.\, a student winning an award. \nThis form is primarily to allow parents to restrict photo and video usage or limit it to their preferences. Parents who choose not to sign this form consent to the use of photos or videos of their child or family as described above. \nThis form applies to photos and video taken during the school year that it is signed. For example if a parent does not grant permission for photo usage one year but does grant permission the next year\, any photos taken during the restricted year cannot be used by the school\, even during the year that new photos are not restricted. \nDo you grant FRCS permission to use video/photos of your student/family for use in digital and print materials?YesYes - photos onlyYes - video onlyNoOtherParent/Guardian signature *\n \n \n \n Clear Signature\n Submit \n \n\nKeep the dress code in mind when school clothes shopping\nYou can review the school dress code here. SUMMARY:Senior Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The senior retreat is a multi day excursion that focuses on Survival\, Summit\, and Solo. \nFirst\, and most importantly\, our Seniors are encouraged to truly define who they are and how they desire to impact FRCS in their last year of high school. What will their legacy be? How can they\, as a class\, push our community into deeper Kingdom living? Second\, our Seniors will experience The Solo. The Solo is an expertly crafted\, wilderness experience focused on silence\, solitude\, and reflection. Students on the Solo will reflect on what they love and what they want out of this life. The reflection that comes out of the Solo will define much of what a student pursues in Senior Seminar leading to their Senior Capstone project. Lastly\, at the end of the retreat\, the Seniors will summit together. This is meant as a celebration of what they have done thus far on the retreat and what they will do in the coming year. This summit\, in many ways\, sets the tone for the Senior class as a whole. \nMore details\, including the specific packing list\, will be shared with students in Senior Seminar. \nFRCS Dress Code for Student Experiences\n(Retreats\, J-Terms\, Practicums\, and AWE Outings) \nGeneral Reminder: Students are expected to follow the FRCS Dress Code for all student experiences. The following guidelines provide specific expectations for performance wear for students outings and experiences. \nLadies may wear:\n\nFull-length leggings when paired with a shirt that provides appropriate coverage\nFitted performance shirts that remain within dress code expectations\nAthletic tank tops with straps at least three finger-widths wide\n\nLadies may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts; shorts must extend to at least mid-thigh\nShirts or tops that are too revealing or inappropriate for the setting\n\nGentlemen may wear:\n\nAthletic wear such as workout shorts\, joggers\, and performance shirts\nFull-length athletic pants or shorts that meet dress code expectations\n\nGentlemen may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts; shorts must extend at least mid-thigh\nTank tops or sleeveless shirts

SUMMARY:Senior High Retreats

SUMMARY:YMHFA Class for Parents
DESCRIPTION:Since 2021\, FRCS has offered Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) classes to all of our faculty and coaches. That same year\, we began Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) classes for our 10th grade students as a regular part of their fall rhythm. We have seen both students and adults put their MHFA skills to work as they have walked alongside young adults experiencing mental health challenges. \nThis year\, we offer this same YMHFA training to all FRCS parents. It provides valuable information for anyone who spends any amount of time with youth. In the course\, you’ll learn about common mental health challenges that affect youth\, how to differentiate between typical adolescent development and a mental health challenge\, and practice a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety\, depression\, substance use\, disorders in which psychosis may occur\, disruptive behavior disorders (including ADHD)\, eating disorders\, self-injury\, and suicide. \nThe YMHFA course for parents is Saturday\, September 26\, on the FRCS campus. We begin at 8:30am and wrap up at 3:30pm. The cost for the course is $35 per adult and includes a Processing Guide\, snacks\, and certification. Everyone should bring a brown bag lunch. Registration (complete the form below) is open until Wednesday\, September 23. Parents of students of any age are welcome\, and feel free to invite a neighbor or a friend! \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to Suzy Eitzen at seitzen@frcs.org. \n\nRegister for the Class\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLast \n Payment Name Phone\n \n \n Email *PhonePayment Acknowledgment *I understand the payment terms below and agree to themThe cost of this class is $35 which includes a processing guide\, snacks\, and certification upon completion of the class. SUMMARY:Fall All Parent Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The fall All Parent Meeting is a great opportunity for parents to hear from Head of School David Cooper on important topics such as school finances and vision for the future. \nWhy should you attend? Be encouraged by what God is doing in FRCS; be challenged to get involved; grow your relationships with other FRCS parents; and ask questions of school leadership. \nFree childcare for students grades K-6 during the meeting is provided by the Falcon After School Program. Drop your children off at the playground just before the meeting (which begins at 6pm)\, and pick them up from the activity room after the meeting (around 7:30pm). \nSnacks are provided (both for kids and parents). \nThese meetings are casual in nature and an important part of our communication with parents and community in our school. We hope to see you there!
