SUMMARY:Senior Summit
DESCRIPTION:Since we needed to cancel the Senior Retreat this year\, aspects of the experience have been divided into a multi-day set of experiences with one optional overnight. The second\, and final\, experience is The Summit. \nSeniors will Summit together. This is meant as a celebration of what they accomplished during The Solo and what they will do in the coming year. This Summit\, in many ways\, sets the tone for the senior class as a whole. \nSeniors do have the option to turn this experience into a camping trip. A group will meet at FRCS at 2pm on Sunday and camp overnight. Seniors who opted out of camping will meet those who chose to camp on Monday morning (departing from FRCS at 5:30am) so the entire class can Summit together. All seniors will return to FRCS by 4pm on Monday. \n\nFRCS Dress Code for Student Experiences\n(Retreats\, J-Terms\, Practicums\, and AWE Outings) \nGeneral Reminder: Students are expected to follow the FRCS Dress Code for all student experiences. The following guidelines provide specific expectations for performance wear for students outings and experiences. \nLadies may wear:\n\nFull-length leggings (shirts must be long enough to cover appropriately).\nSpandex shirts (fitting within the dress code guidelines).\nAthletic tank tops (should have a three-finger minimum width on the straps).\n\nLadies may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts (must extend at least mid-thigh length).\nShirts or tops that are too revealing or inappropriate for the setting.\n\nGentlemen may wear:\n\nAthletic wear such as workout shorts\, joggers\, and performance shirts.\nFull-length athletic pants or shorts that adhere to the dress code.\n\nGentlemen may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts (must extend at least mid-thigh length).\nTank tops or sleeveless shirts.\n\n

SUMMARY:Godly Sexuality Conference - Senior High
DESCRIPTION:Front Range Christian School is excited to partner with Authentic Life Church to bring you two conferences around the topic of godly sexuality. Both conferences feature Shelly Donahue\, a decorated guest speaker on this topic\, and in both sessions Shelly teaches parents to overcome fear and talk to their kids about sexuality with confidence and competence. At the same time\, teens gain a clear vision of the physical\, emotional\, spiritual\, financial\, and relational benefits of waiting until marriage. It’s a wholistic approach to relationship education. \nWe believe that this topic is important\, and we see a profound opportunity here for the church and the school to partner together. The focus of this time is to help students reflect about how to love well\, how to live well\, and how to find their identity in Jesus Christ. \nThis session is specifically intended for senior high students and their parents (there is another on November 9 for students grades 6-8 and their parents). The session is designed so that parents or guardians should attend alongside students (don’t worry — it won’t be totally awkward!). Please note that this event is not exclusive to FRCS\, and others from outside our school community will also attend. In fact\, feel free to invite friends or others in the Littleton area! The cost is FREE\, but we ask that you register in advance by using the button below. A pizza lunch will be served at the conference. \nREGISTER \n\nIt is also worth mentioning that we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Authentic Life Church to bring this event to you. If you see other opportunities for FRCS to partner with local area churches\, then please let Mr. Spector or Mrs. Hart know.
