DESCRIPTION:Registration for the Holy Grounds Student Craft Fair: for young makers and entrepreneurs is now open! FRCS students grades 1-12 are invited to participate. The businesses at the fair must be run and managed by the student with minimal assistance. While the focus is primarily on crafts and handmade goods\, we will permit participation from some young entrepreneurs with non-craft businesses (prior approval should be obtained before completing the registration form. To get approval\, please email holygrounds@frcs.org with a brief description of your business). \nIf you are interested\, please complete this registration form with your parent/guardian and read all of the information carefully. The event is Friday\, May 1\, from 3:15-5:15pm in Holy Grounds. Students who exhibit will be released from class at 2:45pm to begin setup in Holy Grounds. Parents of participant students grades 1-8 should also plan to arrive no later than 2:45pm to help set up. \nIf you have questions or special requests\, please email holygrounds@frcs.org prior to completing the form to make sure we can accommodate your requests. SUMMARY:Senior Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The senior retreat is a multi day excursion that focuses on Survival and Solo. \nFirst\, and most importantly\, our Seniors are encouraged to truly define who they are and how they desire to impact FRCS in their last year of high school. What will their legacy be? How can they\, as a class\, push our community into deeper Kingdom living? Second\, our Seniors will experience The Solo. The Solo is an expertly crafted\, wilderness experience focused on silence\, solitude\, and reflection. Students on the Solo will reflect on what they love and what they want out of this life. The reflection that comes out of the Solo will define much of what a student pursues in Senior Seminar leading to their Senior Capstone project. Lastly\, at the end of the retreat\, the Seniors will summit together. This is meant as a celebration of what they have done thus far on the retreat and what they will do in the coming year. This summit\, in many ways\, sets the tone for the Senior class as a whole. \nMore details to come… \nFRCS Dress Code for Student Experiences\n(Retreats\, J-Terms\, Practicums\, and AWE Outings) \nGeneral Reminder: Students are expected to follow the FRCS Dress Code for all student experiences.
