DESCRIPTION:This information was updates on July 13\, 2026 \nJoin us for Registration Day as we kick off the 2026/2027 school year!\nAll FRCS families are invited to join us for Registration Day on Thursday\, August 13. You can meet teachers\, set up your locker or your student desk\, drop off supplies\, turn in essential forms\, and (perhaps most importantly) reconnect with the community while enjoying snow cones and lawn games! There is a dedicated time at 9am for new families to join us and receive a welcome and introduction to campus\, and we are running special sessions on various topics throughout the day. These sessions allow parents to hear from various leaders at FRCS about a number of topics—so take a look at the schedule below and join us on August 13 for the beginning of another excellent school year! \nAs you arrive\, please follow the Registration Day Checklist (downloadable version coming soon). This checklist\, which can be completed in any order\, will ensure that you get the most out of this day and don’t miss any critical stations. Before August 10\, please take a few minutes to review your family’s information and make any necessary changes. Having accurate information is critical to school safety\, so please update your info today. Instructions are listed below. \n\nGo to the Family Portal and log in\nFrom the School menu\, select Web Forms.\nThen select FRCS Family Forms. You will see several forms listed where various information can be viewed or updated. Be sure to save each form you update.\n\nFRCS Student Information Form: general student info — please also update church information\nStudent Health Assessment Form: student health info\nFRCS Family Form: parent contact information — one for each custodial parent — please also update church information\nEmergency Contact Form: list of emergency contacts\nAuthorized Pick Up Form: list of those who are authorized to pick your student up from school\nSenior High Specific Forms\n\nOff campus permission forms\nThriveCare permission form — must be completed for each high school student in your family\, but only needs to be completed once for each student (i.e.\, if you completed the form last year\, you do not need to complete it again this year)\n\n\n\n\n\nFAMILY PORTAL \n \n\nGather required medical forms and unopened medications\nWe cannot administer any medication without the Over the Counter Medication or Prescription Medication forms being filled out by your doctor. Use the button below to access forms and print the ones you need (or download the medication forms from the Family Portal)\, ask your doctor to fill them out\, and bring them to Registration Day with your unopened medications. \nIf your child requires rescue medication of any kind (seizure meds\, EpiPen\, inhalers\, insulin/glucagon) he/she will not be allowed to start school without the required paperwork and medication. If your 6th grade student wishes to play any middle school sports\, those fees are in addition to regular fees. Elementary families will be invoiced for fees on August 5\, and auto-drafted on August 19. \nJr/Sr High students have required fees that cover things like retreats\, community days\, standardized testing\, yearbooks\, a school t-shirt\, and more. The Junior High required fee is $390 and the Senior High required fee is $435. Jr/Sr High families will be invoiced for fees on July 13\, and auto-drafted on August 10. Fees that apply to classes your student is taking (AP Courses\, NHS\, and electives) are invoiced after the add-drop period. Fees that pertain to sports and theater productions are invoiced at the beginning of those seasons. \nFees are invoiced through your existing FACTS account and automatically paid using the payment method on record in FACTS (though you can choose to make payments manually prior to the due date). To protect our students\, we avoid including student information (such as names)\, except when the student's name or other details are important to the photo; e.g.\, a student winning an award. \nThis form is primarily to allow parents to restrict photo and video usage or limit it to their preferences. DESCRIPTION:Parents and students\, you are invited to join us on the first day of school for flapjacks and fellowship! Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:20am in the lower elementary playground (the parking lot outside Praise Church). Please note this is a late start day for ALL students. SUMMARY:Senior Retreat
DESCRIPTION:The senior retreat is a multi day excursion that focuses on Survival and Solo. \nFirst\, and most importantly\, our Seniors are encouraged to truly define who they are and how they desire to impact FRCS in their last year of high school. What will their legacy be? How can they\, as a class\, push our community into deeper Kingdom living? Second\, our Seniors will experience The Solo. The Solo is an expertly crafted\, wilderness experience focused on silence\, solitude\, and reflection. Students on the Solo will reflect on what they love and what they want out of this life. The reflection that comes out of the Solo will define much of what a student pursues in Senior Seminar leading to their Senior Capstone project. Lastly\, at the end of the retreat\, the Seniors will summit together. This is meant as a celebration of what they have done thus far on the retreat and what they will do in the coming year. This summit\, in many ways\, sets the tone for the Senior class as a whole. \nMore details to come… \nFRCS Dress Code for Student Experiences\n(Retreats\, J-Terms\, Practicums\, and AWE Outings) \nGeneral Reminder: Students are expected to follow the FRCS Dress Code for all student experiences. The following guidelines provide specific expectations for performance wear for students outings and experiences. \nLadies may wear:\n\nFull-length leggings (shirts must be long enough to cover appropriately).\nSpandex shirts (fitting within the dress code guidelines).\nAthletic tank tops (should have a three-finger minimum width on the straps).\n\nLadies may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts (must extend at least mid-thigh length).\nShirts or tops that are too revealing or inappropriate for the setting.\n\nGentlemen may wear:\n\nAthletic wear such as workout shorts\, joggers\, and performance shirts.\nFull-length athletic pants or shorts that adhere to the dress code.\n\nGentlemen may NOT wear:\n\nShort shorts (must extend at least mid-thigh length).\nTank tops or sleeveless shirts.
