SUMMARY:Book Fair
DESCRIPTION:Dear FRCS Family\, \nI can’t think of a more important life skill than reading! Reading touches every area of our lives and deepens our understanding of the world around us. Books take us on adventures\, teach us history\, share others’ stories\, and reveal God’s truth in His Word. \nThat’s why we dedicate four special days each fall to our annual Book Fair! I invite you to be part of this wonderful event. The selection will be extensive\, with something for every reader. As we approach the holiday season\, it’s the perfect time to consider giving the gift of books to your emerging reader. \nThis year\, we are excited to announce a change. After careful consideration\, we have decided to partner with a new organization\, I:55\, whose vision is “to see every child delight in books that grow their minds\, shape their hearts\, and point them toward lasting truth— inspiring the next generation of readers.” Over the past few years\, we have grown increasingly concerned with some of the content Scholastic has promoted\, and we believe I:55 provides a more aligned alternative. We invite you to come to the Book Fair in person and experience the change for yourself! \nWhile we are confident in the high quality of I:55’s books\, we will not be able to offer the same incentive programs we previously could through Scholastic. In past years\, those programs helped us build our classroom libraries\, provide discounts to students and staff\, and buy hundreds of books for our FDC. If you are able\, we invite you to consider purchasing books for classroom libraries and the FDC this year—your support will make a meaningful difference! \nThe Book Fair is always a highlight for our students and a great opportunity for our community to come together. To make it all happen\, we need your help! Please visit the P3 Portal to see volunteer opportunities and sign up for a time that fits your schedule. \nBook Fair Details:\n\nStudent Shopping: During regular FDC times\, Thursday\, October 30\, and Friday\, October 31.\nParent Shopping: Friday\, October 31 (after school)\, November 3 (during parent/teacher conferences)\, and November 4 from 7:40-10am.\n\nYou can also explore the Book Fair website to learn more about I:55. We will share a link to our specific Book Fair 1-2 weeks before the Fair opens\, so you can also shop online. \nI’m looking forward to celebrating another great year of reading with you at the Book Fair! \nSincerely\, \nJill Hart\nElementary Principal

SUMMARY:Scheduled Snow Day
DESCRIPTION:As an item for the Auction last spring\, we auctioned an opportunity to call a snow day for the school in the fall. The date for this scheduled snow day is set for Monday\, November 10. There will be no school this day. \nWhy are we letting a family call a snow day?\nCalling a snow is a fun\, unique item made available at the FRCS Auction. Several families bid on the item\, which makes it a great fundraiser for the school — similar to items like the teacher outings or “be a teacher for a day.” The chosen date must be approved by FRCS Administration to ensure it does not disrupt learning or already scheduled activities. Unlike other snow days\, planning one allows us to notify families in advance. \nAll schools in Colorado build in a contingency for a certain number of snow days each year\, to ensure that all required days of learning remain available to students in the schedule\, even in cases of bad weather. Being able to auction one of these contingency days is a fun way for the school to raise some money and give a family the chance to create a planned day off for all students. This auction item is planned and designed to NOT interrupt instruction and learning time for students. \nMy child is in the ECE program\, and I still need care for that day. Can I bring my child to school?\nYes! For our preschool\, PreK\, and kindergarten students\, it is an optional snow day. If you need care on these days\, you can bring your young students in for a great day of learning and fun. If you would like to have a snow day and stay home\, have fun! We do ask that you let ECE staff know what your plans are so that they can staff the ECE accordingly. \nWill FRCS offices also be closed?\nYes; it is\, after all\, a snow day!

SUMMARY:Godly Sexuality Conference - Grades 6-8
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: The date for this conference has been updated. The speaker had to adjust the date due to unforeseen circumstances. Everything else about the event remains unchanged. \nFront Range Christian School is excited to partner with Authentic Life Church to bring you two conferences around the topic of godly sexuality. Both conferences will feature Shelly Donahue\, a decorated guest speaker on this topic\, and in both sessions Shelly teaches parents to overcome fear and talk to their kids about sexuality with confidence and competence. At the same time\, teens gain a clear vision of the physical\, emotional\, spiritual\, financial\, and relational benefits of waiting until marriage. It’s a wholistic approach to relationship education. \nWe believe that this topic is important\, and we see a profound opportunity here for the church and the school to partner together. The focus of this time is to help students reflect about how to love well\, how to live well\, and how to find their identity in Jesus Christ. \nThis session is specifically intended for middle school and junior high students (grades 6-8) and parents (there is another on October 5 for senior high students and parents). The session is designed so that parents or guardians should attend alongside students (don’t worry — it won’t be totally awkward!). Please note that this event is not exclusive to FRCS\, and others from outside our school community will also attend. In fact\, feel free to invite friends or others in the Littleton area! The cost is FREE\, but we ask that you register in advance by using the button below. A pizza lunch will be served at the conference. \nREGISTER \n\nIt is also worth mentioning that we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Authentic Life Church to bring this event to you. If you see other opportunities for FRCS to partner with local area churches\, then please let Mr. Spector or Mrs. Hart know.

SUMMARY:All School Registration Day
DESCRIPTION:This information was updates on July 13\, 2026 \nJoin us for Registration Day as we kick off the 2026/2027 school year!\nAll FRCS families are invited to join us for Registration Day on Thursday\, August 13. You can meet teachers\, set up your locker or your student desk\, drop off supplies\, turn in essential forms\, and (perhaps most importantly) reconnect with the community while enjoying snow cones and lawn games! There is a dedicated time at 9am for new families to join us and receive a welcome and introduction to campus\, and we are running special sessions on various topics throughout the day. These sessions allow parents to hear from various leaders at FRCS about a number of topics—so take a look at the schedule below and join us on August 13 for the beginning of another excellent school year! \nAs you arrive\, please follow the Registration Day Checklist (downloadable version coming soon). This checklist\, which can be completed in any order\, will ensure that you get the most out of this day and don’t miss any critical stations. Your general school supplies should be dropped off in the classroom when you meet your teacher (ECE & Elementary) or at the table near the Jr/Sr High front office. \nSchedule\nPlease note that all sessions are optional. \n\n\n\n9-9:20am\nNew family welcome\nHoly Grounds\n\n\n10-10:20am\nWelcome to junior high!\nJRSR Room 108\n\n\n10:30-10:50am\nElementary Pathways to Parent Partnership\nMultipurpose Room\n\n\n11-11:20am\nECE Parents connections\nECE Garden\n\n\n11:30-11:50am\n Jr/Sr High J-Term & Practicum\nPAC\n\n\n12-1pm\nLunch break\n(teachers are unavailable during this break)\n\n\n\n1-1:20pm\nSr High AP & dual credit courses\nWiersma Center\n\n\n1:30-1:50pm\nParent Information on Teen Mental Health First Aid\nPAC\n\n\n\nThings you can do now\nUpdate your student’s info\nInformation for emergency cards is taken from the data you supply in the Family Portal. If your 6th grade student wishes to play any middle school sports\, those fees are in addition to regular fees. Elementary families will be invoiced for fees on August 5\, and auto-drafted on August 19. \nJr/Sr High students have required fees that cover things like retreats\, community days\, standardized testing\, yearbooks\, a school t-shirt\, and more. The Junior High required fee is $390 and the Senior High required fee is $435. Jr/Sr High families will be invoiced for fees on July 13\, and auto-drafted on August 10. Fees that apply to classes your student is taking (AP Courses\, NHS\, and electives) are invoiced after the add-drop period. Fees that pertain to sports and theater productions are invoiced at the beginning of those seasons. \nFees are invoiced through your existing FACTS account and automatically paid using the payment method on record in FACTS (though you can choose to make payments manually prior to the due date). If you prefer to pay from a different bank or account or by credit/debit card\, please log in to your FACTS account prior to the due date and add the other form of payment. NOTE: If you elect to pay by credit/debit card\, associated processing fees will be added to the invoice total. \nPlease refer to fee sheets (found on the Family Portal) for specific details about fees. \n \n\nSign the photo release form\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Parent/Guardian name *FirstLast \n to grant FRCS\n \n \n Email *\n Student information\n Student name *FirstLastStudent grade *--- Select Choice ---Preschool/PreKKindergarten1st2nd3rd4th5th6th7th8th9th10th11th12th\n \n Add\n \n \n Remove\n \n Release details\nPhotos or videos may be taken in class or during school events\, including fine arts and athletics. Video may be an archive or livestream of events\, including concerts and other performances. Some activities are automatically photographed or videoed and removing students from those group photos will be next to impossible (e.g.\, drama productions and some sporting events). However\, we do our best to adhere to the wishes of parents. NOTE that parents who do not grant permission for videos or photos may prevent their child from participating in some concerts and performances where a recording or livestream or group photos are planned. \nPhotos and video may be used on/in the school's website\, school emails\, social media\, slide shows\, brochures\, and other promotional and communications materials. To protect our students\, we avoid including student information (such as names)\, except when the student's name or other details are important to the photo; e.g.\, a student winning an award. \nThis form is primarily to allow parents to restrict photo and video usage or limit it to their preferences. Parents who choose not to sign this form consent to the use of photos or videos of their child or family as described above. \nThis form applies to photos and video taken during the school year that it is signed. For example if a parent does not grant permission for photo usage one year but does grant permission the next year\, any photos taken during the restricted year cannot be used by the school\, even during the year that new photos are not restricted. \nDo you grant FRCS permission to use video/photos of your student/family for use in digital and print materials?YesYes - photos onlyYes - video onlyNoOtherParent/Guardian signature *\n \n \n \n Clear Signature\n Submit \n \n\nKeep the dress code in mind when school clothes shopping\nYou can review the school dress code here.
