Class Lists

Class lists are nearly finalized, though there may be changes as new students are enrolled (sometimes even during the first week of school). Any decisions about splitting classes are made by Mr. Sarian.

A lot of time and prayer go into creating our class lists each year, so please do not request to have your child moved to another section.

Because we do not publish elementary student information on our website, there is no link to the class lists. An email was sent to all elementary parents with a link to the class lists on July 1. Another will be sometime between July 15 and July 24. Please check your email or watch for the reminder email to view the class lists or email the elementary office to request a copy of the list.

School Supplies

Very soon, school supplies will begin to appear in stores, if they haven’t already. The school will no longer be purchasing school supplies for students and adding those costs to fees, so we wanted to get supply lists into your hands now.

Please bring all supplies to school on Registration Day (Tuesday, August 6) or the first day of school (Monday, August 12).

Please go to RenWeb to download the Elementary Supply List.

Activity Fees

Activity Fees include class field trips, a school theme t-shirt, and any end of the year activities. Activity fees are due on or before August 12, 2019 (the first day of school), and you will have the option to pay them at Registration Day.

Returning families: please stop by the Elementary Office on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, between 3-6pm. You will be able to pick up your family packet, which contains all of the necessary forms for the 2019/2020 school year; pay activity fees; and drop off supplies. All forms are due on or before the first day of school, August 12, 2019.

New student orientation: for students grades 1-6 and their families will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1pm in the Falcon Discovery Center (NOTE location change). Elementary Principal Dan Sarian will make an orientation presentation and packets will be available during this time. Some teachers will also be available to say hello to new students.

  1. Go to ParentsWeb and log in.
  2. From the School menu, select Web Forms. Then select FRCS Family Forms.
  3. You will see several forms listed where various information can be viewed or updated. Be sure to click “Save” on each form if updates are made.

School begins on Monday, August 12! It’s coming up fast, and we are excited to see students and parents again.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to construction happening in the Commons, the location for Registration Day activities has changed. New family orientation will now occur in Holy Grounds Café, and registration activities will be held in the Elementary Activity Room (next to Holy Grounds). Times have not changed.

Registration Day for grades 7-12 is Tuesday, August 6. New families and incoming 7th graders should arrive at 2pm for New Student Orientation. Returning families (8th-12th) may come any time between 2:30-6pm.

Please review the following information, and make sure you have everything filled out and ready to go before Registration Day.

New Student Orientation

Students who are new to FRCS Jr/Sr High, please attend New Student Orientation from 2-3pm in Holy Grounds Café with at least one of your parents. We begin promptly at 2pm, so you may want to arrive a little early. Immediately following the presentation, parents and students will have time to complete Registration Day activities (such as schedules, locker assignments and combinations, school IDs, collecting other important information, and paying fees*).

NOTE: All 7th grade students and at least one of their parents need to attend this new student orientation as well.

*The fees sheet is available on ParentsWeb

What Should I Bring?

There are a variety of forms you will need to complete prior to Registration Day. They are all available on ParentsWeb (under “Resource Documents”).

  • Completed medication forms (required if your student requires prescription or over-the-counter medicine at school…this includes ibuprofen, cough drops, etc.). Please also bring the medication to turn in with the forms.
  • Miscellaneous Fees Sheet along with payment for the required fees (cash or check only).
  • Completed off-campus permission form, if applicable (applies only to high school students). Review the Off Campus Privileges section of the Family Handbook* for details.

  • Grades 7-8 should bring an iPad case for their school-issued iPads.
  • Grades 9-12 should bring the iPad they will be using for the school year and their laptop if they would like assistance connecting to the wireless network.

* While the Handbook on the website is still for the 2018/2019 school year, the Off Campus Privileges section will not change. Our hope is that the Family Handbook will be fully updated for 2019/2020 no later than August 1.
