Jim Smith received a BS in Mechanical Enginerring from the United States Air Force Academy in 1971. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado in Denver. His teaching background includes 30 years of teaching Jefferson County Public Schools. After retiring from public schools, he taught another 7 years at Mullen High School. Recently Mr. Smith has been teaching at Arapahoe Community College as an adjunct professor. He says, “After all this, the Lord has lead me to FRCS where I have worked as a tutor to a number of students. I believe the Lord is speaking clearly: ‘Use the gift of teaching that I have given to you—you still have gas in the tank.’”
