Biography

Educational Background and Experience
I did my undergraduate work at the University of Redlands with a major in Biology and a minor in Education. I completed graduate work at Loma Linda University with a Master's in Public Health and a Doctorate in Health Science. Prior to Front Range Christian, my teaching has been with adults in the fields of health, finances, and missions education. After volunteering on many fronts here at the school with board work, missions, and volleyball, God gently directed me to the classroom to teach life science and missions.

Why I Teach
I teach because I believe it is what God has gifted me to do. I enjoy helping students understand concepts and grow in their understanding of the world around them. I love learning and hope to be able to instill a similar love in the students I teach.

Why I Teach at Front Range Christian
All truth stems from our Creator. I want to teach in an environment where truth is taught from top to bottom, a place where God is welcomed and glorified within the subject being taught. Front Range Christian is constantly striving to live out its mission to partner with the Christian home, train students for life, and equip those students to impact the world for Christ. I want to be a part of it!

My Passion
I love my God and my family, for sure. In addition to that, God has put the passions of missions, sports and kids on my heart. I can get pretty excited about science stuff, too!

My Hobbies
I like to spend time with my family, read, bike, ski, hike, bake, go to Rockies games, explore new places, look at the stars, and have good conversations with friends over a great cup of tea. I also love music and the theater!
