Biography
Mike Hestermann brings 27 years of Christian education experience to his new role as principal for Front Range Christian Schools. Mike has been a teacher and coach for elementary through high school. He has served as an elementary school principal, middle school principal, high school assistant principal, and middle school and high school athletic director. Mike graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in special education. He has completed graduate hours toward a graduate degree in administration from Azusa Pacific University.
Mike is married to Cindy, his wife of 30 years, and they have two children, Riley and Lindsay. Riley, a graduate of Colorado State University, is an officer in the United States Air Force and is married to Alison, who is an officer as well. They are expecting their first child in October. Lindsay graduated from Colorado State University also, and recently married her high school sweetheart, Jeff, who graduated from the United States Military Academy in May.
Mike is looking forward to meeting the students, parents, and staff of Front Range Christian Schools. Since starting on July 11, Mike has experienced an exciting sense of God’s purpose and plan for the school. He is looking for ward to what God is doing and will continue to do according to Jeremiah 29:11, Jeremiah 33:3, and Ephesians 3:20.
