FRCS’s Varsity Volleyball team went into the Englewood Parks and Recreation tournament finals in fourth place. They then proceeded to upset every other team to take first place! The teams that FRCS beat on the way to the championship were Columbine High School’s JV team and Kennedy High School; and then the Lady Falcons upset the number one seeded South High School in the Championship! Head Coach Kathleen Sherman said, “I was so excited for our girls—they never gave up! Our camp at UNC really pulled the team together. This tournament helped build momentum for the upcoming season.”
