At Front Range Christian School, we believe that sports are a great way for our students to not only develop physically, but also an opportunity for students to understand team and competitive environments and learn how to become Christ-like role models in those environments.

The unfortunate truth for many Christian sports programs is that one often cannot tell the difference between the athletes from the Christian schools and the athletes from other schools. At FRCS, we emphasize that athletes and fans must have a Christ-like demeanor and godly attitude in their approach to sports. This includes our revolutionary “Meet at the...” programs in which we invite the other team to gather for encouraging put-ups (instead of put-downs) and prayer after each game. In fact, you can listen to a brief interview with K-LOVE radio about the program.

We are members of the Colorado High School Activities Association, and are eligible to compete for Colorado athletic titles. Our high school athletics program was recently listed in Mile High Sports Magazine as the 50th best program in all of Colorado (Rankings included all schools 1A-5A). In our efforts to bring a distinctively Christian perspective to our athletics, all of our coaches take part in weekly training and devotionals.

Our Athletic Facilities

  • Beauitful all-weather football and soccer field
  • Full-sized high school basketball/volleyball gym
  • Indoor Baseball Training Center with video motion analysis equipment (baseball games are played at Dante Bichette Field)
  • Weights and aerobic conditioning facility

I have coached basketball at The Colorado Springs School for this my eighth year now. Sadly, when we have competed against programs that had the name Christian attached to their school, most often they were indistinguishable from secular institutions. Then a wonderful thing happened! Front Range Christian School started coming to our Kodiak Classic. I do not have the words to accurately represent how stellar the witness is that your athletes, coaches, and community brings to our campus every year. Maybe this will approximate how I feel: I would want my own son or daughter to attend Front Range Christian School!!! Please know the mission of your school, athletic program, and community is working! There is hope for the mission of Christ Jesus being fulfilled as long as the entire community of Front Range Christian School keeps expressing such a stellar witness and testimony. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
