Educational background and experience: With an MA in Early Childhood Educational Psychology, I have had the privilege to work in school administration, as a child psychologist, as well as developed bilingual programs in Mexico and the United States.  Even though this is my third year as a teacher of a group, I have worked in the special education department , ESL program, and substitute teaching. During this time, I have been teaching Spanish to my own children who are now in 8th and 5th grade.  I have been teaching at FRCS since 2008.

Why do you teach?  I enjoy teaching for its service to children.  I love watching them grow emotionally, spiritually, socially, and academically.  I come from a family of educators, practicing in the United States, Spain and Mexico.  I appreciate and believe in the importance of quality education, and the enrichment of our children as they are being prepared for the future good of our society and themselves.

Why do you teach at FRCS? I like the challenge of starting a Spanish Immersion Program and the privilege of working with FRCS children.  We will be giving these children another door of God given capabilities and skills.

What is your passion in life? To do God’s works.  Serving others with the gifts I have been given is truly rewarding.
