Cindy Fast   

Educational background and experience: I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The University of Northern Colorado. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 4th grade. I taught pre-school and pre kindergarten for 6 years. I have been the Elementary Librarian at FRCS since 2006. 

Why do you teach?  I teach because I long to impart a love a reading to children. I also believe that we can learn so much through stories about life and about God, which is why Jesus taught in parables. I am especially passionate about God's word and long for all students to read it with passion.  

Why do you teach at FRCS? I teach here because God called me to this place. I stay here because of the opportunity God gives me each day to make a difference in the lives of the students here. FRCS is a wonderful place to work! It truly is a community where God's love abounds.  

What is your passion in life? My greatest passion is the Lord Jesus Christ and knowing him through His word.  

What are your hobbies and other interest? I love to take walks in God's beautiful creation. My other hobbies include gardening, interior decorating and baking. I love spending time with my husband and three children. I also have a hair salon in my basement which is my part time hobby/passion.
