"We feel FRCS has a strong academic structure with a well rounded approach for preparing students with a solid spiritual foundation which can be implemented into real world experiences." an FRCS parent
With students in 7th-12th grades in our Jr/Sr high program, we've got a blend of smart students, average students, and students who struggle academically. We view all of our students as unique gifts from God. From gifted and talented students to those enrolled in our NILD program (National Institute for Learning Development) to students in a self-contained classroom, we have athletes, artists, comedians, strong-willed, tender-hearted, you get the picture. Foreign exchange students, missionary kids, PK's, transfer students from public schools, homeschool, other private schools, and students moving here from out-of-state/country. There is only one way into heaven, but there is more than one way into FRCS. Your family will feel welcome here and we will do everything we can to help them thrive!
HIGH SCHOOL
We're fully accredited (through the Association of Christian Schools International), so you can expect us to prepare your 9th-12th grade high school students for college and beyond with rigorous academics, deep spiritual formation and an authentic high school experience. Imagine your student connecting with his or her peers and growing his or her faith every week in a discipleship group. That happens here!
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Do you remember your Junior High years? Some would rather forget. We view seventh and eighth graders as eager junior high students who desire healthy peer relationships and boundaries that will help shape their character. With this perspective, you can expect your junior higher to excel in a nurturing educational environment.

Go! Wednesdays
The American culture is very "me" focused, with much of our efforts directed towards personal achievements and accolades. At Front Range Christian, we are looking for ways to combat this attitude and direction and help lead our students to a Biblical ideal that models Jesus Christ's examples of giving of himself for the needs and service of others. We want students to experience the joy first hand of doing for others for no other reason than to meet the need they have. Students have a variety of opportunities to serve in our community. Whether it's cleaning facilities that serve struggling populations, playing with an inner-city child, serving a meal to a homeless person, or encouraging an elderly person, FRCS students are learning that it's really not all about "them."
Front Range Christian has freed up a three hour block of time one Wednesday a month from September to April. This time has been set aside for Jr. and Sr. High students to serve in our community. We call this GO! Wednesday because students go to something that focuses on others rather than themselves. The students are broken up into groups and each group is led by a faculty member and has parent help for transporting and supervising students. The places and people that our students serve vary greatly. Some students travel to downtown Denver to serve with organizations that help the homeless and the poor. Several others work with inner-city children's programs. Locally, we have groups that are blessing people in our Armed Forces as well as Police and Firemen. Several groups assist business owners in our complex, and assist others in need within our community. Another group of students assists a ministry to a mobile home park, doing a variety of yard work. Finally, we have a number of groups that go visit retirement homes to encourage and love the residents. Each GO! Wednesday is exciting as 250+ students head out to make a difference in the community!

Amazing stories – Former doctors, lawyers, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers (ok, not really the last three). Our teachers are passionate, highly skilled and they have answered the call to educate students and partner with parents who are intent on living their lives to please God. “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14. Your students will be loved on in a healthy, nurturing way at our school and you can expect to partner with some incredible teachers who invest in your student’s lives every day.
We don't fill a teaching position with any warm body... rest assured, we hire educators who are "called" to teach in a Christian school. Our teacher application process is quite rigorous and includes a two-part written application, a two-part formal interview, professional and spiritual references and a criminal background check. FRCS teachers are highly qualified for their teaching assignments; all have must earned at least a Bachelors degree and must hold a valid state teaching license or ACSI certificate. Many of our instructors have their Master's degrees in education and our faculty includes teachers who have been published, have served as seminar leaders and presenters, and have designed award-winning "Exemplary School Programs."
Our teachers and administrators cover a broad spectrum of personalities as well as share a common passion for advancing the kingdom! You'll be blessed by the long-term relationships they develop with your children.
I have been around "Christian Education" all my life - as a student, parent and now teacher. I can't say enough about the spiritual direction of the school. The dual commitment of this school to academic excellence and to equipping kids to "live out loud" for God is unparalleled in my experience. The teaching staff is second to none - it's an honor for me to partner with them. The school is also non-denominational - many different churches are represented in the Front Range family - and the school respects those differences, encouraging kids to be able to defend from Scripture their beliefs and opinions; "critical thinking skills" based on God's Word are something the school holds as a very high standard."
