Front Range Christian Practicum in Ecuador

Spring Practicum 2012

Spring Practicum is one of the award-winning disctinctives of Front Range Christian School. It is one of the many tools used to accomplish our mission. You can now download the practicum packet with all of the information for 2012 (.pdf). Here is the focus of practicum this year:

Spiritual Growth and Discipleship
This year’s theme of “Do Hard Things” will be carried out through each Practicum experience. Each group will be guided through a specific spiritual emphasis that challenges students to examine their walk with Christ and to become more Christ like as a result.

Ministry and Outreach
If not totally mission focused, all of the Practicum’s have an outreach component. Students will be challenged to see every activity as an opportunity to love and care for others in a tangible way simply for the purpose of sharing the good news of God’s love to our community.

Training
The opportunities afforded through the Spring Practicum provide either additional experience in a particular subject area or entirely new skills that can be explored.

Knowledge
Practicums are designed in order to increase student knowledge about the world God created, what God is doing in the world and how they are uniquely gifted and designed by our creator to impact it.

Community
The full week with the same students and teachers takes on the feel of a team. Together, each Practicum group will have opportunities for Christian fellowship and the development of friendships that span various grade levels. This “living life together” affords great lessons in living out what it means to love God and love others.
